Great vein clinic! After years of dealing with varicose my wife finally convinced me to see a vein specialist Dr. Brukasz. I always thought that to have my varicose veins treated I would have to take time off from work and be put under general anesthesia. But to my surprise the varicose vein treatment was done in the office under local anesthesia and I was able to go back to work the following day. My entire experience at the Institute for Vein Health was very pleasant and I’m so glad that I finally took care of my legs. I wish I would off have it done years ago.
Dr. Brukasz came highly recommended to me by my coworker so I have decided to go for my consultation since I have been struggling with varicose veins for years and recently with swollen and painful legs. Doctor was very nice and professional, he explained in depth about the recommended treatments and expected results. I have decided to move forward with my procedures. After 3 varicose vein laser treatments and 3 sclerotherapy treatments I couldn’t be any happier with my results. All bulging varicose veins are gone, no more swelling and pain. I can finally enjoy my life and travel. I highly recommend this vein clinic.
A wonderful man and specialist! Thank you, Doctor, for your advice and help. My husband and I owe you a lot. 🙂

Treatable Conditions Palos Hills Location

Varicose Veins

Twisted and expanded veins, displaying shades of red or blue, filled with stagnant blood and susceptible to clotting. Evident on the surface, they manifest as swollen cords accompanied by discolored and ulcerated skin.

Spider Veins

Spider veins, diminutive vessels situated just beneath the skin's surface, frequently manifest on both the legs and face.

Facial Broken Blood Vessels

Tiny, fragmented veins such as capillaries and telangiectasias on the nose, cheeks, and other facial regions can often give the impression of a reddened complexion.

Leg Pain

Leg pain or discomfort might be indicative of temporary or minor issues, yet it could also be a potential sign of a severe, life-threatening medical emergency.

Pregnancy Related Vein Disease

The occurrence of varicose veins is notably heightened during pregnancy, exposing expectant women to an increased risk of developing Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). Hormonal shifts in pregnancy contribute to elevated blood coagulability, thereby raising the chances of blood clot formation.

Leg Swelling and Lymphedema

Leg swelling can arise from a range of factors, either independently or in conjunction. Our upright posture promotes the retention of fluids in the lower extremities, specifically the legs and feet. Additionally, this fluid accumulation can trigger inflammatory responses associated with either local or systemic illnesses.
